A static compressor converter for a trolleybus (hereinafter referred to as PSK) is designed to control an asynchronous motor operating in the trolleybus compressor system. The product complies with modern trends in world technology and is based on a 16-bit microprocessor specialized for working with three-phase motors and a power transistor IGBT module. The microprocessor performs the function of a regulator, a generator of a pulse-width modulated signal that forms a sinusoidal current in the motor, provides communication with the control panel, and also performs the necessary protective functions.

The control panel allows you to change and save in non-volatile memory the parameters of the PSK in the control system of an asynchronous motor, as well as view the accumulated alarm messages about problems in the system.

The PSK has all the control and diagnostic functions that allow protecting both the PSK and the asynchronous machine from damage. PSK is resistant to short circuits in the load circuit, motor jamming, power supply overvoltage, wire breakage feeding one of the motor phases, converter and motor overheating.
