UAKSI is designed to automatically control the resistance of the second stage of insulation of electrical equipment of urban electric transport.
When a 24V supply voltage is applied to the UAKSI, the "Power" lamp on its front panel will light up.
Attention!!! In the test mode, the trolleybus must be disconnected from the contact network.
Pressing the "TEST" button starts the insulation resistance test mode sequentially through ten measurement channels.
Attention!!! In test mode, 1000 V is present at the terminals of the XS connector.
After passing the test, each of the ten channels will light up an indicator corresponding to the resistance of the circuit connected to this channel:
- if the resistance is higher than 1200 kOhm, the green indicator will light up.
- if the resistance is below 1200 kOhm, but above 600 kOhm, the yellow indicator will light up.
- if the resistance is below 600 kOhm, the red indicator will light up.
The driver’s panel displays information about the lowest insulation resistance found when testing all channels.
