LLC "ETON" was founded - one of the first enterprises of the group of companies "DORELEKTROMASH". The company was founded by a group of electronic and electrical engineers. The company specializes in power electronics, with the main emphasis on transport electrical systems - primarily for trolleybuses and railway passenger cars. The first major projects of the company were the improvement of a static converter for a trolley bus and the development of a converter for a compressor with an asynchronous drive.

1998:

 

After the successful completion of the tests of the converters, the company began to develop a complete set of electrical equipment for the trolleybus. In parallel with the development of a set of equipment, negotiations were held on cooperation with RUE "MAZ" to create a trolleybus based on the body of the MAZ bus, since it is the MAZ body, according to many experts, that is one of the best both in terms of workmanship and corrosion protection.

2000:

 

All work on the development of a complete set of electrical equipment for the trolleybus was completed. The first model of the MAZ-103T trolleybus entered the market, which met all technical requirements and safety standards. Serial production was launched, and the first 56 cars began to ply the streets of Minsk.

2004:

 

LLC "ETON" together with the State Design Bureau "Yuzhnoye" created the E186 trolleybus, which is operated in the cities of Kyiv, Nikolaev and Krivoy Rog.

2005:

 

ETON LLC, together with NPTOO Politronika, CJSC NPP EPRO and the Minsk Automobile Plant, created a PT-6231 trolleybus with an alternating current traction drive ("EPRO") and a hydraulic trolley pole control system ("Polytronika").

2008:

 

Due to the high requirements for ensuring the electrical safety of high-voltage equipment, an agreement was reached between ETON LLC and RUE MAZ, under which MAZ supplies vehicle kits, and ETON installs electrical equipment and is the final manufacturer of trolleybuses. In the same year, the first line of trolleybuses, under the updated MAZ-ETON-T103 brand name, was supplemented by the new MAZ-ETON-T203 model with a more modern body and increased comfort interior. This model received the diploma "Best trolleybus of 2008" at the International Automobile Forum in Moscow. In addition to body improvements on this model, electrical equipment was modernized, in particular, an air conditioning system for the passenger compartment and driver's cab was developed, and current leakage monitoring devices were installed.

2009:

 

ETON LLC, together with PJSC AK Bogdan Motors, created the Bogdan T60112 trolleybus, which is operated in Lugansk.

2010:

 

As the next step in the development of the trolleybus theme, the ETON-ELTRANS Production Unitary Enterprise was established in the group of companies. The enterprise has launched mass production of several basic models of trolleybuses, which can be produced in various modifications with the installation of additional options.

2014:

 

Beginning of cooperation with LITAN TRADING HOUSE LLC regarding the supply of sets of electrical equipment for DNIPRO trolleybuses

2018:

 

Beginning of cooperation with NEFAZ PJSC and STFC KAMAZ LLC for the production and supply of converters for urban electric transport.

2020:

 

Beginning of cooperation with UTTZ JSC for the supply of electrical equipment kits for the Gorozhanin trolleybuses. Also, this year another enterprise appeared in the group of companies - EtonElectro LLC. The main activity of the enterprise was the production of autonomous driving systems, including batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles. The company is also engaged in the production of wiring harnesses for electrical equipment of electric vehicles, automotive and tractor equipment and for other products for various purposes.

2022:

 

ETON LLC celebrated its 25th anniversary.
