The boost voltage converter PPN-440/600-16 (hereinafter referred to as PPN) is designed for installation in urban electric vehicles and is intended to be used as a voltage source for an air conditioner inverter as part of the traction equipment of the KAMAZ-6282 electric bus. According to the output, the PPN is a stabilized voltage source with a maximum current limitation.

The PPN is made in a case protected from splashes and dust and is designed for installation in the passenger compartment or on the roof of the vehicle, as well as in other places, subject to the operating conditions.

The rear wall of the converter housing is finned and equipped with a fan for forced air cooling, which ensures sufficient heat dissipation, both when driving and when the vehicle is parked.
