Paired current collectors are installed on the roof container of the trolleybus and are designed to collect current from contact wires and transfer it to the circuits of traction and auxiliary electric machines and trolleybus equipment. They carry out a movable electrical connection between the contact wires and the electrical equipment of the trolleybus.

The current collector and the control unit of the current collector control system are attached to the frame on the roof of the trolleybus. The current collector is insulated with porcelain insulators. The current collector pole is isolated from the base, and the head is isolated from the pole.

The current collector control system consists of:

- two current collectors with pneumatic drive;

- racks of pneumatic equipment;

- control unit;

- cord laying mechanism.

Current collectors are equipped with pneumatic actuators. Current collector control system protects the contact line and current collector heads from damage when they leave the contact wires, and are also designed for remote lowering of current collectors from the driver's cab. At the choice of the customer, the current collector control system can be equipped with pneumatic actuators manufactured by different manufacturers.
