Equipping trolleybuses with autonomous running system

The ETON group of companies has developed an autonomous running system designed for installation on already operated trolleybuses that did not previously have such an option. The installation of this system allows not only to ensure the movement of the trolleybus in emergency situations (breakage or disconnection of the contact network, accidents, road repairs, etc.), but also to organize combined routes when the trolleybus travels part of the way without a contact network. This makes it possible to significantly improve transport services for the population by creating more convenient routes without additional costs for the construction of traction substations and a contact network and to ensure the rapid organization of trolleybus traffic to new districts.

The company's specialists develop constructive solutions for the installation of this system for different types and manufacturers of trolleybuses.

The last successful installation of this system was on Solaris Trollino SC 12 and Solaris Trollino SC 18 trolleybuses, which are operated by Aktsiaselts Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT) public transport company in Tallinn (Estonia).
